Happy and Blessed Feast of Nayrouz – 1743
Over the past several months, we have been praying about some of the obstacles that our children and youth are facing in Sunday School and Bible Study, as well as the ongoing limitations of our facility. Our desire is always to provide the best possible environment for the spiritual education and growth of our children.
With this in mind, we will be making some modifications to our Sunday School schedule. We pray that these changes will allow us to better serve each age group, provide greater opportunities for spiritual education and fellowship, and help our children grow more deeply in their relationship with Christ and His Church.
The updated Sunday School schedule will begin Friday, October 2nd and Saturday, October 3rd, as follows:
Friday
• Adult English Bible Study: 6:00 PM – 7:00 PM
• Hymnology: 7:00 PM – 7:45 PM
• Youth (5th Grade through College): 8:00 PM – 9:00 PM
Saturday
• Sunday School (KG through 4th Grade): 5:00 PM – 5:45 PM
• Hymnology: 6:00 PM – 6:45 PM
• Servants Prep: 6:00 PM – 7:00 PM
Quarterly Family Meeting
Beginning Saturday, October 3rd, we will also have a quarterly Family Meeting from 5:00 PM – 6:45 PM:
• 5:00 PM – 6:00 PM: Coffee Hour
• 6:00 PM – 6:45 PM: Spiritual Word
These changes will also allow us to separate our High School classes so that we can better serve the specific needs of our youth, while also promoting and encouraging their attendance at other important services of the Church, including Vespers and Midnight Praises.
We understand the magnitude of this change and the impact that it may have on you and your family. We sincerely appreciate your patience, understanding, and support, and we pray that we can all work together to make this transition as smooth as possible for our children and youth.
Above all, our goal remains the same: to provide our children with an environment where they can grow in their knowledge of the faith, participate more fully in the life of the Church, and develop a lasting relationship with Christ.
If you have any questions or concerns regarding these changes, please feel free to reach out to us directly.
Please continue to keep our children, youth, servants, and families in your prayers.
Be safe in the Lord.
